FSC® Certified Sole Crepe
Sole crepe is a natural Artisan product traditionally produced by a highly-skilled workforce. The resulting material is harder wearing than the re-milled material which many shoe manufacturers use.
The manufacturing process of sole crepe has not changed since it’s beginnings. Thin laces are milled, dried and layered to form the different sheet thicknesses as required by our customers.
The manufacturing process is environmentally friendly as the rubber trees take out co2 from the atmosphere, drying heat is created by harvesting wood from the
plantations and many of the factories have their electricity supply from mini hydrodams built on the plantations.

We received our FSC Chain of Custody Certification in July 2019. This means that our supply chain adheres to the tough regulations put in place by the Forest Stewardship Council ® to protect the communities and the environment. You will be able to track the sole crepe through every part of the supply chain until it reaches you.
Working with our FSC certified producers means that we can offer FSC 100% sole crepe from production to delivery. You can be confident that the Sole Crepe you buy from us comes from a responsible source.
